Day 2 was spent at Barnetby, althougth a short stint at Knabbs Bridge was to be had. A nice mix of traffic although it was very apparent that the Iron Ores were not running, as it was very quiet. To rub salt in the wound there were a few 60's unnallocated at Immingham in the week which would almost certainly have been rostered for this this traffic had it have been running.
Not so many photos were taken this year as I was trying to capture more of the semaphore operations on video. Sadly the writing is well and truly on the wall for Barentby's semaphores, which is a terrible shame as it is a fantasic living memory to how the railways used to be. It's always been pleasant to watch the signalman in Barnetby East Box pulling the levers and hearing the distinctive clatter of the signals being pulled off and then falling back into the on position. Night times are also good as the lamps on the cluster of semaphores at Wrawby Junction are quite impressive.
